After fourteen days of persistent negotiations we finally agreed upon a reasonable price.
Another week later the "kit" was taken home.

There was a "maybe" 11/750 in the air for about a year, but that didn't work. Then one day I got a mail from a friend saying: "I know a place where you can possibly get a VAX-11/750, are you interested?" Soon we met at barn in a secret place to have a look. There were the odd ends of three 11/750s, more or less incomplete, rusty and dented. I made a rough inventory and took a few photos.
